Not having read Greenleaf I was curious to find out how he got credit for the concept of Servant Leadership when Townsend&#039;s core belief seemed to be precisely that:  &quot;carrying water for your people&gt;&quot;.</description>

		<description>A book recommended at the Managers Tools website:  Communities of Practice:  Learning Meaning &amp; Identity by Etiene Wenger--its a bit theoretical-- a more prgmatic approach might be Cultivating Communities of Practice by the same guru/dude.  Read it together with Peter Senge&#039;s Fifth Discipline.

The other books on my list aren&#039;t busy-ness books:  The Politics of Jesus by John Howard Yoder, Finite &amp; Infinite Games by James Carse, Philosophical Investigations by Ludwig Wittgenstein and the Law of Love and the Law of Violence by leo Tolstoy.</description>
