The principles of memetics are intended to explain how ideas are replicated, through the human predilection for imitation. This TED talk from early 2008 takes things a step further by introducing the concept of temes, described as “a third dangerous step” to follow the preceding two “dangerous steps” of genes and memes.

A key quote from Tim’s presentation: “Enterprise 2.0 means letting users into your back-office and turning your company inside out… Or waiting for an innovative start-up to do it for you!”
