I have participated in a number of Radio and TV game shows, most notably The Krypton Factor (Television’s Toughest Quiz) where I was beaten in the semi-final by the eventual series winner – although I did beat him over the assault course.
I am a very keen participant in Bettakultcha, which is Yorkshire’s own version of extreme pecha kucha. This consists of preparing and giving a presentation of 20 slides, which automatically advance every 15 seconds. My subjects have included singer-songwriter Jake Thackray and the inimitable comedian Bob Newhart.
