Many of us are living through harder times but we still persist with using softer language that often pre-determines weaker performance.

But we are not doing ourselves any favours if we avoid pressing issues by means of fanciful language.
Effective and timely action to resolve issues needs to be described by effective and appropriate language – from all parties to the conversation.
A well-turned phrase will not make a problem go away.
